Alumni results

Investment readiness is a business problem, not a pitch problem.

Great businesses attract capital. Capital raising isn’t about rehearsing soundbites or polishing a pitch deck. It’s about building a business investors actually want to back — one with a scalable sales engine, durable competitive advantages, and a roadmap for global expansion.

The missions

Two markets. Both on the ground.

London & the UK

Seven days across the City, Tech Nation and the investor community, with fireside chats and site visits.

San Francisco & the USA

Seven days across the Bay Area, meeting operators, acquirers and US venture capital.

Eligibility

Who we are looking for

Queensland’s most promising B2B tech ventures with growing revenues that are preparing to scale and raise capital.

Queensland HQ

Your venture must be headquartered in Queensland.

B2B tech-enabled

You sell to enterprise, SMEs or government — B2B or B2B2C.

Seed to Series A

Preparing for a Post-Seed to Series A raise in the next 3–24 months.

UK or USA on the roadmap

A clear intent to expand into UK and/or US markets.

Structure

Three phases, over six months

Pre-mission workshops

Weekly workshops, in person or remote, on investment readiness and scaling into big markets: structuring, GTM, organisational lifecycles, durability, financials and capital strategies.

The expansion mission

A 7-day intensive in-market immersion with 20–30 events, including fireside chats, site visits and investor meetings.

Implementation & realisation

A fortnightly cadence to solidify learnings and implement the expansion strategy with in-market proof points ahead of fundraising.

Running alongside all three: the Growth Summit, a 3-day offsite where both cohorts come together for founder personal development.

What’s included

  • Weekly workshops and mentoring, face-to-face or online
  • 7 days / 6 nights in London or San Francisco — accommodation, official dinners and transport
  • 3 days / 2 nights at the Growth Summit offsite, twin-share accommodation and all meals
  • Casual hot-desk access at The Precinct, Fortitude Valley, up to one day per week
  • One-on-one coaching and mentoring from Tribe's investor network

Founders arrange and pay for their own international airfares, travel insurance and personal incidentals for the mission component.
